Winter has arrived

It has been a while since my last post.
It was 70* beautiful & next 10* snow.
Not quite ready for this but it is here so will deal with it.
I have to say it is peacful but problematic.
Have not finished ceiling insulation about fifty feet to go so about half done. It in the teens when you wake in the morning but as soon as i get tools working it warms right up.

It may not be very comfortable, but it's absolutely gorgeous! So glad to hear that you guys are still hanging in there! Sending warm thoughts your way.

Ya I agree just thaught we would have more time. We are doing well I have installed a the main living room wall to cut house in half to cut down heating needs. I have completed all exterior insulation & ceiling. It is now holding around 60 +- Degrees in house. So things are getting much better. Far from thinking we will get thru winter with out alot more work. we will keep working on our goal to get this home cealed up before the worse hits us. Turkeys & chickens have grown so big. Our male in charge is about 40lbs we call him big Dady. Chicken are producing more eggs than we can sell or eat 30+ a day WOW. Put up 10 chickens & 5 turkeys in frezzer for winter. Hope all is going well for your Farm God Bless.
